Health Management

Workshops & Presentations

GatorCare has several workshops related to emotional wellness: Beyond the Stress Ball, Happiness Hacks, Digital Detox, Shaping Your Next Normal, and Work-Life Alignment. Sign up your office for a live workshop, or watch one of our recorded wellness presentations on your own time.

Wellness Screenings

Meet with a GatorCare wellness team member to participate in a free screening for BMI, body composition, blood pressure, and more. Learn your risk for certain chronic conditions and what you can do to maximize your wellness.

Tobacco Cessation

Resources available through your Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and Tobacco Free Florida, including group and one-on-one support and free or reduced cost nicotine replacement therapies such as patches, gum, and/or lozenges. GatorCare members have additional free resources.

Wellness Challenges

Participate in one of our guided wellness challenges to create positive habits in a fun way. Improve your emotional wellness through wellness challenges involving gratitude, sleep, meditation, resilience, and more.

Health Street

Provides health assessments, HIV testing and birth control counseling as well as information on local resources and UF research opportunities.

Flu Shots

Provided free to employees in the fall of each year. Visit the Student Health Care Center for more information on receiving a flu shot.

Exercise

Campus Walking Maps

Getting outside and taking a walk can positively impact your health while making you more productive at work. Take a quick 6-minute break or a full on 30-minute walk with our UF and UF Health campus walking maps.

UF Rec Sports

Membership provides recreation and fitness facilities, campus pools, group fitness classes, fitness assessment center, indoor intramurals and Lake Wauberg. Premium services include massage therapy, personal training and small group training.

Live-Streamed Classes

Did you know that it only takes 15 minutes of movement each day to improve your health? Check out our free, 15-minute lunch break classes, available to any UF or UF Health Employee. All fitness levels are welcome and no equipment is needed.

On-Demand Fitness

Enjoy 5-45 minute strength, yoga, stretching, and meditation classes available on demand, no equipment needed.

UF Health Shands Fitness and Wellness Center

Medical fitness and personal training available. 30-minute small group training class available. Open to all.

Arts in Medicine Online Classes

Arts in Medicine is now offering free, online, weekly wellness classes including dance, yoga, qigong, and more! Classes are appropriate for individuals of any skill level.
