Get rewarded for working on your health and wellness! Complete various activities, earn points, and redeem for your employer's incentive.
Getting Started
Each employer group has their own specific activity requirements and their own incentives. Find your employer group below to explore your program’s details. Regardless of your employer, activities and incentives are provided through Florida Blue’s wellness platform Better You Strides.
For all benefits eligible employees, whether you accepted or waived GatorCare insurance, you will need to create a Better You Strides account in order to participate in the incentive program. Click the button below for detailed instructions on how to get started.
UF Health Shands Gainesville
This wellness incentive program is available to all benefits-eligible UF Health Shands employees.
The 2025 incentive program takes place April 1 – September 30, 2025.
Requirement 1: Complete your biometric screening at an on-site event or at a participating Quest Diagnostics lab (available June 1 – August 31).
Option 1: Schedule your on-site biometric screening
- Option 2 (only available June 1 – August 31, 2025): Schedule your biometric screening at a participating Quest Diagnostics lab
- Participating labs are located across the state, including two locations in Gainesville. Screenings at a participating Quest Diagnostics lab are open June 1- August 31, 2025. Appointments are required. Click this link for directions on scheduling your appointment.
*NOTE: Parking passes are not available to event attendees*
Requirement 2: Take an online health assessment through your Better You Strides portal
- If you are a GatorCare member:
- Using a computer:
- Log in to your FLBlueGroupBenefits.com account.
- Access the Better You Strides portal using the menu on your dashboard.
- Read and accept the Terms of Service.
- Choose your communication preferences.
- Once you have completely created your account, take the health assessment by clicking “Get Started Now!” on your screen. If you decide to take the health assessment later, you can still access it in the gray bar in the top left corner of your homepage or by clicking the “Take Health Assessment” journey card
- Using a computer:
- If you are a benefits eligible employee who waived GatorCare coverage:
- Using a computer:
- Go to login.onlifehealth.com
- Click “Get Started.”
- Enter your name, date of birth and ZIP code.
- Click next.
- Enter your employer’s group number (66125).
- Read and accept the terms of service.
- Choose your communication preferences. It will prompt you to take your health assessment next. Before you take your health assessment, please update your username and password so you’ll have immediate access the next time you open Better You Strides.
- Click on “I’ll do this later” and you will be taken to your homepage.
- Update your username and password by going to the upper right corner of your homepage.
- Click on the profile icon and select “Settings” from the drop-down menu.
- Click on the pencil icon to edit your settings.
- Create a unique username and display name.
- Enter your email address and create a password.
- Click “Save.”
- Once you have completely created your account, take the health assessment by clicking “Get Started Now!” on your screen. If you decide to take the health assessment later, you can still access it in the gray bar in the top left corner of your homepage or by clicking the “Take Health Assessment” journey card
- Using a computer:
Requirement 3: Be Tobacco Free or Complete tobacco cessation course (on the Better You Strides portal)
Requirement 4: Earn 300 points and record in your Better You Strides account by Sept. 30, 2025
- Log into your Better You Strides portal and earn 300 points through the list of eligible activities listed below!
UF College of Medicine Gainesville
The 2025 incentive program will take place between April 1 – September 30, 2025.
The Scheduling portal is now open to reserve your screening time, schedule below!
UFICO
The 2025 Incentive program will take place April 1 – October 31, 2025.
GatorGradCare
The 2025 incentive program has closed. Thank you to all participants.
Participants should expect their incentive to arrive in their email by the end of May. The e-gift cards will be sent directly from Amazon, so be sure to check your junk/spam and trash folders if you do not see it in your inbox.
UF Health Jacksonville/UFJPI
The 2025 Wellness Incentive Program is now open from 05/01/2025 – 11/15/2025. To earn the 2026 Wellness Credit and receive an insurance premium discount, eligible participants must complete all required activities by 11/15/2025.
Step 1: All employees must create an account on the new Florida Blue website.
Requirement 1: Earn 500 Wellness Points and record in your Better You Strides account by 11/15/25
Requirement 2: Complete your biometric screening at an on-site event, at a participating Quest Diagnostics lab, or at a Florida Blue Retail Center

Requirement 3: Take the Online Health Assessment through your Better You Strides Portal

- Access the Better You Strides portal using the menu in the top right-hand corner of your dashboard.
- Read and accept the Terms of Service.

Requirement 4: Get your flu vaccination
- Flu vaccinations received on-site at a UF Health flu clinic must be self-reported by the employee on their Better You Strides Portal.

UF Proton Therapy Institute
The 2025 Incentive Program has begun: 05/01/2025 – 11/15/2025. The Better You Strides portal will be open from 05/01 through 11/15. Eligible participants are expected to complete all required activities and earn at least 500 points by 11/15/2025 to be eligible for the 2026 Wellness Incentive. UF Health Central Florida
The 2025 Wellness Incentive Program is now open from 01/01/2025 – 11/30/2025. To earn the 2026 Wellness Credit and receive a premium discount, eligible participants must complete all required activities by 11/30/2025. This includes getting an annual flu shot, scheduling a wellness visit with your PCP or OBGYN, and completing the online health assessment after registering on the Better You Strides portal through FLBlueGroupBenefits.com. Please print out the PHYSICIAN FORM, have it completed during your Annual Wellness Visit, and return it to the Team Member Wellness Department by fax (352.323.4294) or email (Elijah.fletcher@ufhealth.org) by the deadline to ensure you receive your 2026 Wellness Credit.
