Dear GatorCare members in the Jacksonville area,
What’s Happening:
As you may have heard, Wolfson Children’s Hospital will soon transition its pediatric partnership exclusively to Nemours Children’s Health, Jacksonville, an outpatient pediatric specialty clinic system. As a result, the longstanding clinical collaboration between the UF College of Medicine – Jacksonville and Wolfson Children’s Hospital for a number of clinical services will be coming to an end for most specialties, effective March 1, 2026.
What this means for your coverage:
We want to reassure you that your GatorCare health insurance coverage will not be affected. Wolfson and Nemours will remain Tier 1 GatorCare Network providers following March 1, 2026, and you can continue to receive care at the same Tier 1 GatorCare Network cost.
Even after the clinical collaboration ends, there will be no disruption in care from a GatorCare perspective. Your coverage, benefits, and access to these services will remain the same.
