Patients can receive alerts when medications are ready.
WHAT:
UF Health outpatient pharmacy customers will be able to use the MyUFHealth patient portal and mobile app to track prescription requests and get real-time notifications when medication is ready for pickup.

User-friendly MyUFHealth tools already allow patients to request a medication refill, assign one or more preferred pharmacies, set up payment, and message providers with prescription questions.
WHEN/WHO:
Starting on Oct. 14, these added options will be accessible for patients using UF Health outpatient pharmacies in Gainesville and Central Florida.
WHERE:
View the UF Health Pharmacy locations here.
HOW:
UF Health patients can set up access on the MyUFHealth patient portal website or mobile application to easily manage their health care 24/7 from any location. UFHealth uses the “MyChart” mobile app from the developer Epic Systems. Visit the MyUFHealth website for details: https://ufhealth.org/myufhealth
