What is S.M.A.R.T Goal?

S.M.A.R.T. is an acronym commonly used as a guide towards goal setting to identify clear and achievable goals.
1. Specific : Goals should be clear and specific, to focus efforts at the goal at hand.
2. Measurable : Assessing progress helps to stay focus, as you strive towards your goals.
3. Achievable : Goals should be realistic and attainable to ensure success.
4. Realistic : Retain control over your goals and ensure it truly matters to your success.
5.Timely : Every goal needs a target date, set a deadline to prioritize everyday tasks and goals.

Beneath the three you choose, provide a SMART goal (specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, and time-sensitive). For example, if you choose Social Wellness, a SMART goal may look like “This year, I will schedule 30 minutes every Friday to talk to a friend I haven’t heard from in a while.”
