Living more sustainably doesn’t have to be complicated—small, everyday changes can make a big difference in protecting our planet. By reducing waste, conserving resources, and making mindful choices, we can each contribute to a healthier environment for future generations.
Here are some simple ways to be more environmentally friendly:
- Use reusable shopping bags, water bottles, and coffee cups to reduce waste
- Say no to plastic utensils and straws
- Unplug electronics when not in use or use a power strip
- Use a rain barrel to collect water for plants
- Support businesses with sustainable practices
- Buy secondhand or choose quality over quantity
- Plant trees or grow a small garden
- Support pollinators by planting native flowers
