Become a Wellness Resource Partner
The Wellness Resource Partner (WRP) is a nursing employee who demonstrates a dedication to wellness and promotes a healthy and supportive work culture by bringing new and relevant wellness initiatives to their unit. The WRP functions as a role model, coach, and mentor, and supports the health and wellbeing of their coworkers.

Request a Snack & Learn for Your Unit
Snack and Learns are engaging 10-15 minute presentations that cover a variety of different wellness topics like Smart Snacking, Stress Relief in the Moment, Boost: The Power of Taking a Break, and more! View our offerings below and email us at GatorCareWellness@shands.ufl.edu to schedule a snack & learn for your unit.

Become the Healthiest Unit
Participate in wellness activities throughout the year to earn the title of Healthiest Unit! Some examples of wellness activities you and your unit can participate in are Snack & Learns, Team Challenges, Individual Challenges, create a Wellness Board, and/or encourage wellness breaks by providing a relaxing area for rest and restoration. Your WRP must submit this application. Please reach out to GatorCareWellness@shands.ufl.edu for an application.

A partner disseminates information, coordinates programs for their workplace, and encourages participation in wellness initiatives. Partners also provide valuable feedback to help the UF & UF Health Wellness Committee build a culture of health.
