GatorCare members ages 18+ are eligible to receive free online counseling and psychiatry services through Talkspace. Communicate with your provider wherever you are, whenever is best for you. Your Talkspace benefit includes online psychiatry and counseling services. At no cost, you can participate in live online appointments with a licensed psychiatrist to receive medication management (Note: Talkspace providers cannot prescribe controlled substances). Additionally, you can communicate with a licensed therapist on the secure Talkspace platform via confidential text messaging, video messaging, or live video sessions. These free and confidential services are available to all GatorCare members age 18 or older.

Your Talkspace psychiatrist can assist you with managing and prescribing your mental health medications (excluding controlled substances). Experience psychiatry from the comfort of your own home, on your schedule. Sessions are conducted via live, confidential video chat.
