You don’t have to be a dad to love a good “dad joke.” This Men’s Health Month, unlock new, corny jokes as you achieve 8,000 steps per day (or comparable activity) during this self-paced walking challenge.


About the Challenge

Dad Jokes 4 All is a three-week, individual-based walking and activity challenge open to any UF Health employee, whether you consider yourself a dad or not. The goal is to reach the equivalent of 8,000 steps per day, be it by swimming, roller blading, break dancing, riding a bike, or whatever makes your heart sing and your corny jokes fly.

Join the challenge by creating an account on Walker Tracker (or signing in) and joining the Dad Jokes 4 All Challenge! First time using Walker Tracker through GatorCare? Follow the steps below to get started.

Walker Tracker How-To’s

Step 1: Create an Account

If you do not already have an account with Walker Tracker, you will need to create one! Follow these simple steps:

  1. Visit Click “Register Now” on the right side of the screen.
  2. Enter your contact information (UF Health Employees: Your Employee ID is located on the back of your badge. UF Employees: Enter your UFID.)
  3. Agree to the terms of service and click Submit! Then download the Walker Tracker app for convenient step tracking throughout the challenge.

Step 2: Join the Challenge

Join the challenge on Walker Tracker. Sign in and click “Join!” underneath Dad Jokes 4 All.

Step 3: Synchronize a Device

Did you know that you can sync your step-tracking device to automatically send your steps to Walker Tracker? Walker Tracker can sync with dozens of devices, including Fitbit, Apple Watch, Garmin, Withings, and more. Watch the video below to learn how to synchronize your device, or follow the Walker Tracker tutorials.

Don’t have a supported device? You can manually enter your steps throughout the challenge. Follow the instructions for the app or for a web browser.

Please note: You must do one or the other, not both. For example, if you have your Fitbit connected you cannot manually track your steps too.
