What do you enjoy about being a Wellness Partner?
The opportunities to learn about wellness activities are endless! Wellness Partners have the ability to connect employees to a variety of wellness tools from health, social, emotional, mental, and financial. Through wellness strategies we can find and keep the best employees, and workers can stay on track to reach their long-term goals. That means having employees who are less stressed and more productive.
What wellness activities/initiatives does your department like to participate in?
The College of Medicine is a highly competitive environment, and we enjoy a variety of challenges, activities, and initiatives throughout the year. Of particular interest, we continually enjoy the walking challenge and the water challenge. These two activities instill camaraderie and teamwork as most teams bond throughout the experience.
What would you tell someone who is on the fence about becoming a Wellness Partner?
Join our Wellness Partner team! We are a fun-filled group of advocates for the benefits of Wellness programs in the workplace. Wellness Partners have first-hand access to resources that can help employees make smart and healthy choices that can reduce stress, health care costs, increase vitality and motivation in the workplace.
