Effective 5/26/18, Governor Rick Scott signed the Executive Order to declare a state of emergency for all 67 counties in Florida in anticipation of Subtropical Storm Alberto. The Executive Order authorizes Florida Pharmacists to dispense up to a 30-day emergency prescription refill of maintenance medication to members who reside in an area or county covered under this Executive Order and to emergency personnel who have been activated by their state and local agency but who do not reside in an area or county covered by this Executive Order. GatorCare has removed the “refill too soon” edit to allow up to a 30-day emergency supply of prescription medications for the next 7 days.
